Last Wednesday 18 April Go-coach worked with Sevenoaks District Council to take double winter Olympic champion Lizzy Yarnold on a victory parade around local schools and the district.  

Lizzy traveled in an open top Routemaster, and this was supported by go-coach’s new gold Optare Metrocity.

Lizzy Yarnold who lived and went to school in Sevenoaks won consecutive Olympic gold medals in 2014 and 2018. She is the most successful British Winter Olympian and the most successful Olympic Skeleton athlete of all time from any nation.

“We operated her tour of Sevenoaks back in 2014 and were more than happy to do the same this time, using the new gold Optare Metrocity to carry council workers and press. It was the perfect opportunity to use the gold bus, and the Metrocity says all the right things.”
