Optare is continually striving to extend its business horizons through the supply of complete vehicles, CKD or PKD kits, technology transfer and licensing agreements on a worldwide scale. The International Division has built a presence in North America where a large fleet of Solo-based vehicles is operating. Additional sales of the Optare Solo have also been made in Denmark, the Benelux countries and Germany, with further successes anticipated for a vehicle that continues to lead the way in the low-floor/easy-access revolution. The Tempo and Versa models are now also being offered to international markets.

Optare has supplied vehicles to a number of countries throughout the world, including Holland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Malta, Turkey, Malaysia and North America.

Even though some of the vehicle manufacturing industry’s strongest names sell buses in those markets, Optare’s advanced low-floor vehicles have proved to be highly attractive to entrepreneurial businesses and continue to enable profitable sales to be won.
